How to Create Your Own Avatar

  1. Sign up and download Discord.

  2. Open Discord and click on "Create a Server" to create your own server.

  3. Navigate to the "Explore Public Servers" section and search for "Midjourney" server.

  4. To proceed with adding the Midjourney bot to your server, you will need an active Midjourney subscription.

  5. Click on the "Midjourney" server and add the "Midjourney bot" to your server.

  6. In the server's "Messages" tab, import a photo of yourself by adding it to the chat and sending it.

  7. Right-click on the photo and select "Copy Link" to copy the image link.

  8. Type "/Imagine" followed by a space and paste the copied image link into the chat as your prompt.

  9. Choose the desired character style or theme, such as a male Star Wars character, and send it as a message.

  10. Wait for the first draft of your animated avatar based on the prompt and the provided image.

  11. Explore different prompts and styles to experiment with various avatar designs.

  12. Create a script for your avatar to read out. Use ChannelGPT or a similar tool to write a prompt that fits your desired message.

  13. Copy the generated script and go to ElevenLabs, a speech synthesis tool. Click “Get Started for Free” and follow the instructions.

  14. Add your voice by clicking on "Add a voice" and uploading samples of your voice. Make sure the audio quality is clear and clean.

  15. Confirm and add the voice, then synthesize it to sound like you.

  16. Paste the generated voice into the Discord chat or save it to a folder.

  17. Return to the Discord chat and grab the image of your avatar looking like a Disney character.

  18. Download the synthesized voice from ElevenLabs.

  19. Go to D-ID and click on "Free Trial". Follow the instructions and add your video to the tool.

  20. Choose a pre-selected character or upload your own character image.

  21. Upload the voice audio you downloaded from ElevenLabs.

  22. Generate the video and download the final result.

  23. Watch the downloaded video to see your animated avatar come to life, complete with the voiceover.
