Runway Gen2 has been out for a while now, and though it only generates 4 seconds videos, people have found workarounds for making videos longer. But there’s a new feature that solves exactly that, so here’s how to get AI-generated videos longer than 4s:

1. Head to the Runway App - Link

2. Register or login to the app.

3. Click on the Image-to-Text button

4. Add your image.

5. Click generate.

6. Wait for the video to process (acquiring a paid subscription speeds up the process).

7. Once the video is ready, click on the button at the top of the video “Extend 4s”.

8. Wait to process again.

9. Now you have an 8-second long video, and you can keep extending it as long as you have credits!

10. You can download the video through the download icon located on the top-right corner of your video.
