How To Create App and Website Mockups from Text

For this tutorial, we are using UIzard, an incredible tool for UI/UX designers and Design teams, with multiple AI features. The one on which we are focusing today is one of their latest releases, Autodesigner.

1. Visit the UIzard Website and click on “Sign up for free”. Follow the onboarding steps.

2. Click on the "Generate with Autodesigner" button on the Uizard create screen to start using Autodesigner. Alternatively, if you have already created a project, you can find Autodesigner in the magic menu on the left-hand side of the interface.

3. Enter a simple text prompt that describes your app idea, such as "dating app for Frogs." You can also specify the design style and select key terms related to your concept.

4. Uizard Autodesigner will generate a multi-screen design project based on your text prompt. It will create appropriate placeholder text, images, and components for your app.

5. If you want to explore alternative designs, you can click the "Regenerate" button to generate another idea based on your initial prompts.

6. Autodesigner not only generates the visual design but also provides screen interactions to make the design interactive. Click on "Preview" to navigate through the design and experience the interactions.

7. If you need to make edits or refinements to the design, you can easily do so. Update imagery, text components, or add new screens using Uizard's drag-and-drop editor. You can also utilize the components library to expand the design with additional elements.

8. Customize the UI theme of your project by accessing the magic tab and selecting "Theme Generator." You can take inspiration from a URL or image, or start from scratch by selecting colors and design choices to create a unique theme for your project.

9. Once you're satisfied with your design, you can invite your team to collaborate and iterate further or share the project via a link.
